INSTALLATIONs
Thoughtful placement can transform a piece — and a room.
A painting's impact has as much to do with its placement as its content. Scale, lighting, sightlines and the rhythm of a wall all shape how a piece is experienced, and getting these details right is where good art becomes great design. I bring a curator's sensibility to every installation, drawing on years of experience arranging work for galleries, museum exhibitions, and public art projects — including my own paintings currently on display throughout Mountain Village's Heritage Plaza.
Whether you're hanging a single statement piece or arranging a full collection across multiple rooms, I offer hands-on installation services to ensure your artwork is presented at its best. This includes guidance on placement and spacing, hardware and hanging solutions appropriate to the piece, and careful attention to how light and surrounding elements interact with the work. For larger or more complex installations — multiple pieces, unconventional spaces, or mixed collections of paintings and sculpture — I help develop a cohesive plan that lets each piece hold its own while contributing to the whole.
Installation is included as part of every commission for clients on the Western Slope of Colorado, and available as a standalone service for existing pieces in your collection. Wherever your artwork lives, I want it to feel exactly right.
